Inverness Club has a distinguished history, as storied at the legendary players and historic games that have graced its revered grounds.  Since 1903, Inverness Club has welcomed guests and golfers from around the world.  Inverness Club is devoted to honoring the tradition, the integrity, and the skill of the game. 

Inverness Club has hosted eight  major championships since 1920.Inverness Club was the  first club to welcome golf professionals into the clubhouse (1920).  It is the site of the longest playoff in U.S. Open history (1931).
