  • Courteously and discreetly using a cell phone or smart phone for email or text messages is permissible in the Clubhouse, patio, halfway house restrooms, golf course lightning shelters, tennis hut, pool and snack areas, and parking lots.

Etiquette
To preserve the tranquility and decorum of the Inverness Club, members are asked to observe the following rules of etiquette:

  • The use of a cell phone or smart phone anywhere on Club property is strongly discouraged. Cell phones should only be used when extraordinary circumstances require it. Members should be respectful of those around them and their desire to enjoy their experience at the Club.
  • Cell phones or smart phones brought onto the premises must be kept in a silent or vibrate mode so that all incoming calls and messages are inaudible. Cell phone conversations should be held in hush tones and out of earshot of everyone.
  • This policy applies to everyone on the premises of the Club. Members are responsible for informing and reminding family members and guests of the Club’s policy.

GOLF COURSE
GUEST FEES, GUEST LIMIT, GUEST EQUIPMENT, LOCKER RENTALS, AND GUEST PLAY

Guest are limited to a total of three rounds per regular golf season, even if they have been hosted by several different members.  Determining if the guest has surpassed the three-round limit is the responsibility of the host member.

Inverness Golf Members are permitted to host up to seven guests per day.  The member must play with three of his guests, and the remaining guests must play in consecutive tee times.  Tennis and Social members may not entertain guests.  Only the head of the household may use the course as a social or tennis member.  Members are asked to register all guests with the Starter.  The member takes responsibility to monitor their guests' pace of play.  Please keep your foursome moving toward our "four-hour round."

On occasion, you may have a guest who does not have his clubs with him.  Please let us know, and we will be happy to provide a quality set of our "rental" clubs for a nominal fee.  Because your guests should not be given a collection of oddball clubs, we have invested in quality, name-brand clubs to serve as our "rental clubs".

Check-in with the Men's Locker Room Manager and your guest will be assigned a locker.
